Popbasic Lost Collection

Recently I was approached via email from the co-founder of Popbasic.com Madeline Veenstra, and when she offered to send me one of her new Lost Collections, I thought "why the heck not?"

If you've never heard of Popbasic, it's a really cool web store that releases small "collections" every month or so, that all have some sort of theme. You can either buy the whole collection for a discounted price, or get individual pieces if you just like one item from the collection. Each collection is limited edition, and once they're gone, they're gone. I particularly liked the Lost Collection because of the versatility of the pieces. And they're pretty high quality as well, so you're getting your money's worth.
I absolutely love the care that Madeline puts into each package, wrapping everything up nicely and including little extras in an envelope with a handwritten note. That must take a lot of work, considering that if I hand write anything longer than a couple paragraphs these days my hands start to ache.
Pink ink? How cute.
The Sofia Boyfriend shirt is the main piece of this collection, a simple structured button-down with light blue pinstripes. It's like something you'd find in your dad's closet. The fabric is very weighty so you're safe to wear a black bra without it showing (which is nice because lately all I've been wearing is a black bra).
The second piece in the collection is this amethyst pendant, which is - again - incredibly versatile. That's what I've noticed about all of the collections - they don't always have to be worn together. Mix and match and you've got yourself a chic little wardrobe.
The pink silk knot bracelet is a great stacking bracelet, which I have been getting more and more into but with tiny string bracelets. I'll have to add this one to my growing wrist display.
I'll most definitely be doing a look with all of these pieces soon, and I can't thank Madeline enough for sending me this. I highly suggest that you check out Popbasic.com, because not only are the pieces high quality and beautiful, but the customer service is nothing short of rave-worthy. Plus free shipping worldwide! I got my package very quickly from when I gave them my address, and the handwritten elements add such a personal touch. It makes me want to re-vamp my Etsy packaging. I never seem to have the time to write out thank you notes or wrap things up pretty, but when I see how much it makes a difference for the customer, it makes me a little bit ashamed of myself in how little care I put into my own packages.

Have a great weekend you guys and I'll see you soon with a new outfit post!
