Funtimes in Babylon

I am back with another outfit.
So soon, Abby? Yes my friend!

I recently saw a blogger on Tumblr post an outfit with this top from Target, and I fell in love. I fell in love so hard that I went to Target the next day near my work and they didn't have it and I was crushed. I checked online and thankfully the Target near my house had it and I snatched up the last Medium. It's part of Phillip Lim's collection for Target, and it's such a special piece with special details (like the placket shoulder and hidden buttons).
I paired the top with my maxi skirt from TJ Maxx that I got 3 years ago as a nice contrast.

I just how dainty the blouse is, and it can be dressed up or dressed down. Pair it with a vest and pencil skirt for work or untuck it with some jeans and you're set. It's a perfect statement piece for fall because it will work with layering as well as by itself.
My necklace is also from Target, which I absolutely love. Some lady in the mall randomly complimented me as I walked by her kiosk yesterday on my phone. She looked at me and pointed at her sternum and mouthed "I love your necklace," and I said back, hand over my phone, "Target."

I love Target, and I don't care who knows it.
For some reason this thing reminds me of a fashionable bolo tie. That's a thing, right?

My shoes are my fabulously comfortable ankle booties from b.o.c. from TJ Maxx.
I really liked this outfit, and I'm so excited for more fall stuff coming up. Come on weather, transition already. My skin hates you right now.

Also the song for today's post is brought to you by Father John Misty, also known as Josh Tillman formerly of Fleet Foxes. His also Fear Fun is one of my favorites from last year and I highly recommend you check it out.
