Butter London Yummy Mummy

Look! Nudes!

I couldn't pass up that joke.
But what we have here is my current favorite nude color - Butter London's Yummy Mummy. It's a lovely taupey beige color that would look good on any skin tone, even my pale pink skin. On me, it's a deeper beige nude, but on darker skin tones it would read more true nude. I love it though.

I'm wearing it with Julep's Freedom Polymer top coat (which I think I might have found my new favorite top coat). This manicure lasted through a pretty rough and tumble work day where I broke down a lot of boxes and none of my nail polish chipped off. Good job Julep!
Butter London also made this color in a their Lippy liquid lipstick formula, which I also own.
At first you'd think, "a taupe lip color, what the hell?" But since it is a sheer lipstick color, it almost works just to mute the natural pigment of your lips without being concealer lips. At least that's how I wear it. Again, on darker skin tones this would look ridiculously gorgeous in an opaque layer.

What are your favorite nudes? Have you tried anything from Butter London? Also did you know that Butter London isn't actually a British brand, but based out of Seattle? That's a neat tidbit of information for you!
