What's In My Shower?

This is a thing people do, right? I have a collection of products building up, and I thought I'd share with you some of the stuff I've been using in my shower.

Hair -

Blousey Shampoo: I love this stuff so much for when my hair is feeling dry and frizzy. It's an incredibly gentle shampoo, with the main ingredient being bananas. It doesn't lather much at all, and it's one of Lush's non-stripping formulas for anyone with colored hair. It's pricey, but with how cheap my conditioner is, it's worth it to make my hair color last longer.

Suave Naturals Sweet Pea and Violet Conditioner: I know what you're thinking - "NOT A LUSH PRODUCT WHAT THE HELL ABBY!" I like this stuff. I've always liked Suave conditioners, and they're cheap. I've tried almost all the Lush conditioners, and I just haven't found one that I like how my hair feels afterwards.

Face -

Angels on Bare Skin Cleanser: This cleanser is my favorite cleanser we have at Lush, by far. It's gentle and soothing and exfoliating and wonderful. I use it every morning, but on the days I do shower (which is usually every other day) I use it in the shower. The steam from the how water makes it wash away much easier and eliminates any residue that might come from the oils in it.

Body-

Rub Rub Rub Scrub: I use this before I actually get into the shower, specifically on my legs before I shave. I love this stuff, because the salt stimulates the hair follicles to make it a closer shave, and it smells pretty nice as well.

Dreamwash Shower Smoothie: After I scrub down my legs, I use this stuff as my actual shaving cream. It's really soothing on my irritated eczema, and quite creamy, making my shave even more effective and smooth. I also use it as a wash when I'm especially dirty with my body brush.

Sonic Death Monkey: This shower gel is purely indulgence. I don't actually need it. But the smell is divine. It's coffee and chocolate and lime and so delicious. Plus, it's a High Fidelity reference, which instantly sold me on the stuff. The only downside is that you have to order it online because it's a retro product so you can't smell the caffeinated deliciousness before you buy it. But trust me, you should buy it. For the best results, I put it on my body brush and it produces the most lather that way and thus - the strongest smell.

Extra-

Mr. Punch soap (currently unavailable): This is one of the soaps I've had sitting in my bathroom cabinet since Christmas, and I recently busted it out after I finished my sliver of Honey I Washed The Kids soap. It's super fruity and sweet and delicious - like actual fruit punch! And it's really pretty to look at as well with all the chunks of different colored wax. If you like a fruity smelling soap, Miranda is another alternative that's available year round!

So that's what I'm currently using my shower. I will sometimes change it up with my shampoo if I bring home some samples from work, but everything else is pretty much a must-have for me. I don't shave every time I take a shower, usually every second or third shower (so like once a week), but I'll usually use Dreamwash either way unless I'm in a hurry. What are your favorite shower products? Do you use more than I do? Less? Let me know in the comments below!
