Review and Swatches: MUA Lipsticks

In the package I got from my lovely friend Kathy (known as justkissmyfrog on the internets), and I just realized how much I love these two things she included in the package.

MakeUp Academy (or MUA) is a pretty cheap brand (as in £1 per eyeshadow) that you can only get in the UK. I'm not sure if they just carry it at Boots or wherever else. I've only found out about the brand on YouTube, since I've never been to the UK. *sadface*

But while these lipsticks are cheap as hell, they are quite lovely. They have a similar texture as NYX lipsticks, so they melt easily. However, they are nicely pigmented, long-lasting for the price, and have no smell.

The colors Kathy gave me from Shade 7 and Shade 11. At first I though 11 was a 2, because for some stupid reason I was thinking they listed them in Roman Numerals, but it is indeed Shade 11.

Really, they could eliminate all this confusion with some damn names.

The first is Shade 7, which is a peachy pink coral color, similar to Nars Niagara. I wouldn't call it a dupe mainly because I don't own Niagara, but from what I've looked at it's very similar.

Oh, I also dyed my hair the other night. You like the red? I can going for Amy Pond, but ended up form Florence Welch. Nothing against Florence, it just wasn't what I was going for.

The next shade is Shade 11, which is a mauvey coral color. It's very difficult to describe, because it has pink, mauve, and coral, and even a bit of brown in there. But you can see for yourself if my description is helpful at all.

I hope you guys liked this! My blog sale is still plenty open, except the crossed out items have been spoken for. I'd like to get rid of as much stuff as possible, so take a look at my blog sale please! And make me swap offers too, I love swapping.
