Cold Feet Killer

These sandals are deceiving. It was not warm when I took these shots. It was quite chilly, actually. Stupid sun with your lies!
Seriously the weather that day was so on and off that you would have thought Mother Nature was going through menopause. But I was determined to rock my Spring clothes. Plus, I'd already put away my winter stuff anyway, so I didn't really have much of an option.
Sarah and Lana and I found this great brick wall down off Pacific Ave in Tacoma. Specifically an alley behind Domino's Pizza. Sadly we didn't catch any of the cheese fumes.
But enough about cheese. My outfit - go!
I bought this skirt last year from the Goodwill in Gig Harbor, and I can't say I've had a better find from that place since then. Maybe a denim jacket, but who knows. It's just the right length, and I love the button detail down the front.
I paired it with a basic boyfriend tee I got from Target like 5 years ago. Honestly I think it's that old. But when you have a t-shirt this basic, why throw it out? Unless it gets holes in it, it's staying in my closet.
But the star of this outfit is in my new Jeffrey Campbell "Cast" sandals. I had an hour to kill after work the other night so I stopped at Nordstrom Rack to see what kind of sales they had for some Sasquatch gear (that lookbook is coming soon, by the way), and I stumbled upon these. I also bought some other things too, but these were my big purchase. They fit me flawlessly, and they've crazy comfortable. Plus, I can rock them with jeans as well as skirts and dresses. PERFECT SUMMER SANDALS WEEEEE.
For some added vintage flair, I grabbed this little bag I found at an antique store in Cle Elum, WA a few weeks ago. Why the hell was I in Cle Elum? A baby shower. Long story.
Wind in the hair, anyone?

Today's post title is referring to how damn chilly it was, even though it's sunny. It's a song by My Goodness, a local band that is so badass that I can't wait for their full length record to come out in June. SO GOOD. Check out the video for it here.

Really like the wall. Photographers always have a keen eye for an amazing brick wall. Oh and the outfit is on point too, Nordstrom Rack is the place! I always find steals. But that wall, though!

I love the skirt, it fits you perfectly! I also have the same philosophy as you when it comes to basic t-shirts, I have a few that are 3+ years old.
