Wind and Walls

I love denim. It's no secret. I haven't had denim in an outfit in a long time, so I felt the need to.
I wore this exact outfit in a video today on my channel, and someone told me that I reminded her of Clarissa Darling from Clarissa Explains It All. I am totally okay with that reference, because I loved that show growing up. And I love myself some 90s references.
I've always loved this section of Market Street in Tacoma. There's a ton of interactive street art for kids to contribute to, and it's just such a visually pleasing area of an otherwise sketchy looking street.
These are my lovely thrifted overall shorts that I have worn in another outfit post months ago, when it was considerably colder. Now I get to wear them on their own! I paired them with a striped crop top I got from Wet Seal, which gives me a nice bit of breeze where the overall opening is. I just love the idea of a crop top with overalls or pinafores, because you get the sexy peekaboo effect, but it's not like STOMACH in your face.
I kept it simple with my Sam Edelman Javi, that I got from Ebay earlier this year but you can get from Lastcall.com right now for only $80! They're so lovely with shorts because they make my legs look like a mile long.
Shortalls: Thrifted (Similar) // Crop top: Wet Seal // Wedges: Sam Edelman Javis // Sunglasses: Ray Ban Meteor // Necklace: Fuego
This post's title comes from a Tallest Man on Earth track from his new album. It was one of my favorites that he performed at Sasquatch. Here's a live performance that he did of the song on KEXP back in September.
I hope you guys have a great week! Please check out my last blog post, the one with the recipe. I had a lot of fun with it.

I'm obsessed with the song "Wind and Walls"! Thanks for the reminder of how awesome The Tallest Man on Earth is in your music recommendations video! I heard his song "The Gardener" a couple years back but now I've listened to his KEXP performance about a bajillion times :P
