Glamorous Indie Rock and Roll

I've always wanted an excuse to use the title of one of my favorite Killers songs for a post. So this is the perfect opportunity, am I right?
I got this shirt at Deck the Hall Ball 2012, after I saw the Killers for the first time in 7 years. It was magical, and I needed to commemorate it somehow. I loved the faded vintage look of this tee, and I figured I could rock it with a ton of outfits. And I was right!
Today, I paired it with my most worn jeans in my closet - these black BDG Cigarette Jeans from Urban Outfitters. The blue ones used to be my most worn, but these ones I can wear to work, so...
I wanted to rock some mixed textures as well, so I have shiny leather on bottom with my Franco Sarto boots and 100% suede on top. Miraculously, my mother found this jacket for $1 at an estate sale. Can you say "steal?" Seriously, the only thing that would make this jacket better is if it were black leather. The cut and details are fantastic, and the sleeves are just the right length. I'm in love.
The last bit of detail I added for more interest is my favorite flannel around my waist. I'm channeling 1996 with this one, but I think it works. Plus, it's functional, because it was cold as balls and it's a great way to take an extra layer with you when you don't want to wear it all day. It's like a fashion fanny pack. Or a big floppy belt.
Seriously, it was so cold.
The lipstick I'm wearing is Lady Danger by Mac, which is definitely one of my favorite lipsticks of all time. I get 7 hours of wear out of it, and I thought it was the perfect cherry on top of this outfit. There's a bit of red in the shirt, so I added more.
Top: The Killers merch // Jacket: Thrifted // Flannel: Thrifted // Jeans: BDG (Urban Outfitters) // Boots: Franco Sarto (DSW) // Lipstick: Mac Lady Danger
I hope you all enjoyed my little series on how I style my band tees. I've done looks before this with band shirts, so for your own convenience, I've provided some links below, because I like you.
Who knows, I have 19 band t-shirts, so you'll probably see one again sometime.

Abby, I read your blog for a long time now and and I just want to say, that I adore your style. It feels like you would always wear whatever you want and don't give a f* about what other people would consider trendy or stylish, you just do your own thing and girl I love your style. I wish there would be nicer thrift shops in Berlin. Because of your recommendation I started listen to the Killers and I like them, so thank you :)
