NEW IN: L'Occitane Almond Skin Oil

When I got a $20 off a $50 purchase from Sephora, I knew I had to take advantage of the coupon. The problem was, I didn't know what I wanted to buy, besides a new mascara from Tarte (which I'm in love with, btw). I thought at first I could buy two mascaras, but that wouldn't even equal $50.

So the next step was - how about a body oil? I love the massage bars we have at Lush, but I'd been wanting to try a body oil for awhile after I got neroli oil in one of my Birchbox packages last year. Browsing through Sephora's shelves, I came upon this almond body oil from L'Occitane, and I fell in love with the feeling of it. It's very lightweight, but leaves your skin feeling super soft and moisturized without being oily. You just need one pump of this for both arms, and if you wanted to go crazy and put it all over your body, obviously you'd need more. This oil is supposed to help reduce the appearance of stretch marks and help firm the skin. I haven't quite seen those affects yet, but I haven't been using it every single day so I can't say either way.

This oil was not cheap though - $40 for 3.48 oz, but a little bit goes a long way. And as far as Sephora brands go, L'Occitane is one of the most natural and has one of the best policies on animal testing I've seen, besides Lush's policy.
If you've been wanting to try a body oil from somewhere you can actually try it, I highly recommend L'Occitane. There are several other brands I'd looked at (Fig + Yarrow, Aesop) but unfortunately those products aren't sold in stores in the U.S. and thus, I couldn't try them before buying them.
